For the last time, these infidels had defied the will of his King and Queen. And so, just as ruthlessly, he would distribute their wrath.
The massive, hooded black figure rose on the height of the storm. The night air and the black clouds making his silhouette almost useable... until the flash of lightening across the sky caught and ignited the blade of his scythe. With glowing red eyes he swung his blade and cut through the first foe. Before anyone could recognize the situation. He cut down two more splashing their blood across the walls of the city. Soon they saw him, his cloak shining crimson. They leveled their blasters and their rifles, their mortars and their cannons. Firing on his and missing. Every blast just a second too late as he dodged and juked, his blade dancing around him as his span.
The hooded figure growled, a sound that radiated though the skies in the form of thunder. And the heavens released themselves. Lightening danced across metal and burned, or even mutilated, the bodies of their wielders.
To him, they were sinners. They had earned the displeasure of his King and Queen... he would absolve them. And make them beg, no... make them pray they never truly earn their wrath. From the lightening that glassed the ground a grand inferno burned and consumed flesh. The rain congealed and carried lighting. Flooding the ground and boiling. Wind cut their shields and caste their limbs in a tornado where they would never find rest. All of this energy built, and built... and built...
Until the world itself bent in with the power of gravity. Warping and folding as the laws of the cosmic Universe were toyed with. The lone figure... the lone Phoenix, whipped his sheath shut let it dissolve into the air itself. The wind pulled his cloak away to reveal the shine-resistant armor underneath. Made of the finest technology his people could forge. He took no pleasure from this. No satisfaction and even less guilt. But as the screams faded he stopped. Light pushed through the clouds. And Darkness hid the carnage.
Only Rubble remained.
The Sovereign Son was no where to be seen.

Destiny
I stand in the center of a still opalescent lake, my brown hair flowing down my back, a white dress falling loosely around me.
I am as silent as the blue sky above me, determined to carry out the summoning that I have trained my entire life to accomplish, to fulfill my mother and father's wish, to raise the former glory of my clan.
" I am Candace De Fleur, I am the daughter of Landia and Rutger De fleur, protector and leader of thiadel, I call upon ka, the lord of all dragons!"
Then, a rumbling sound beat beneath the surface of the water,
I know my time has finally come......

Chapter 1
Relay 314, December 18, 2254
Commander Vallery Chin watched a bit nervously as the squat little survey ship ambled ahead of the scout squadron. There were three others in this system, all secondaries according to the initial probe scans. To Chin, that meant multiple possible avenues of attack, but Captain Oscar was only focused on the one that was hypothesized to lead to lasir space.
The diminutive commander leaned back in h
